Hamptons

These busy professionals wanted to create the timeless feeling of the Hamptons in their new construction home. While they had a bias towards elegance, they needed practical finishes to withstand wear and tear from their young children. By selecting durable finishes on tables, rugs, and upholstery, we created a space they love and can use comfortably. We layered textural finishes in sophisticated colors to elevate the neutral colors of the home.

We pulled everything together for them, from furniture, lighting, rugs and art work, to selecting and stylizing the bookshelves with accessories. Some furniture was custom and other pieces were “off the shelf”. We blended them all together and gave them a livable interior space that genuinely reflects their personal taste.

She had an affinity for blue and white porcelain so we included it in the book shelves and coffee table. The den, as shown, works mostly as an office, but the sofa converts to an amazingly comfortable bed for out of town guests. The timeless window coverings filter the sun and can become privacy shades when guests arrive. Making homes highly functional, as well as reflective of your own design aesthetic, is what we like to do.
